LAWSON, Alvin "Eddie", age 46, of Powhatan, died November 24, 2008. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin "Mose" Lawson; and a brother, Gary Lawson. He is survived by his wife, Penny; a daughter, Bridget Brown and her husband, Jeff; four grandchildren; his parents, Mary and Jimmy Shephard; four brothers, two sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. His remains rest at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where the family will receive friends 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and open visitation Thursday, and where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday.
